Steve saw his inevitable end as he tried to protect himself and scream as the teeth smashed into him, blood and bones pulverized and mixed as Steve was chewed up with the popcorn by his mom. Outside, Francine thought she heard something like a mouse but continued eating the popcorn and watch TV.
Steve was no more than food as what little of his dead remains were swallowed and digested as natural nutrients for his mom, if only she heard him scream.
