He was concerned about Kat's weight

Sean was also concerned about the weight. In the few moments after the injury in which they were intimate, Sean noticed that Kat's midsection seemed just a bit softer than the rock hard abs it had previously been. He would never say it, but part of the reason that he was even dating Kat was for her body. The first week, he had also been bringing her food that she craved that she normally would not, which included lots of unhealthy take out.

Sean figured that this would go away by the second week, but he was alarmed when it didn't. Despite the evident pudge that was there when she sat up, Kat still was eating a bit more than normal. Had he asked her about it, she may have realized that since she wasn't working out, she never was feeling like that extra burger, or that candy bar, was ruining the workout that she would have normally had. To make matters worse for her figure, the drugs were still slowing her metabolism down, so even if he had convinced her to eat healthy foods, it may not have made a difference.
