Dan walked down the hall to his classroom. He knew his friends were still there. True to their habit, they argued about something. When they saw him, they turned to Dan.
"Dan tell this unimaginative figure I'm right!" Said Tom.
"It's not fantastic to just transform an existing one." Kevin replied.
The two of them really loved the movies. It was their dream to be directors one day. And they were on the way track because one of their short films even won an award last year.
"I don't know what you disagree with now but I know you're wrong Tom." You answered simply.
"You're a traitor. You're saying about the sandwich, aren't you?"
"But now let's get to the important thing, me." You point to yourself with a smile. "My camera is broken, but I found another one and I want to try it on you." You showed them the old camera in your hand.
"Why not?" Kevin replied.
"Yeah. If it's important to you. And my condolences for your camera." Tom added.
You set up your friends between the window and the closet. The afternoon sunlight will thus give the picture perfect illumination. Then you pressed the button. The device clicked a soft fish and then began to buzz. Ten seconds later, the machine released the photo. You grabbed the photo and shook it a few times and then watched how it worked.
The picture quality was perfect. Just one thing was wrong. Your friends head was closer to the edge of the picture than you planned. You thought you might have overlooked something, but then you look up at your friends and really like they’re a little taller. Tom was sorter than you but now you are at the same height.
"Did you guys grow up?" You asked in confusion.
"I do not think so." Tom said and stepped closer to you and put his hand on his own head then pulled it over your head. "We're still the same height."
"I'm still 6'4." Kevin said.
"This is not true." You thought to yourself. "Kevin 6'2 Tom 5'12. At least a minute ago. Somehow they both grew 2 inches." "Thanks for the help guys." You answered aloud now.
Somehow the camera augmented your friends without them knowing it. If this is true, will it increase anyone you photograph? And if only their feet are in the picture? You decided what to do.
