Cadence on the rise

"Who wants snacks?" Cadence said happily as she returned.

Shining Armour and Twilight both stared at her in surprise.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked. "Do I have something on my face?"

"Cadence... your bigger."

"Huh?! Are you saying I've put on weight." Cadence said angrily.

"No!" Shining Armour said defensively.

"Well technically when you get bigger you-" Twilight began, but Shining gave her a nudge to stop.

Shining and Twilight walked over to Cadence and she immediately knew what he meant. Normally Shining Armour was slightly taller than his wife, but now Cadence was a nearly a full head taller than Shining!

"Well this is unexpected..." Cadence said in surprise. "I suppose my excess power had to go somewhere... it could be worse I suppose."

"Aren't you worried about what might happen if this keeps up?"

Cadence shrugged.

"I don't think alicorns get any larger than Auntie Celestia, so if I end up that big we'll just have to adjust.

"Y-yeah" Shining said, not sure whether he should be happy or worried.

Twilight looked at Cadence, still surprised she had suddenly grown larger. Was this her accumlated power distrubting itself or something else?

She noticed Twilight lost in thought and chuckled.

"Oh Twilight, I really wouldn't worry about." She laid down a large collection of snacks and fruit juice. "Now eat up so we can go and play how we used to." Cadence said nostalgically.
