Separatists and Republic forces meet in battle on the planet of Naboo in the midsts of a Separatists invasion, in fact the invasion was so essential to their plans Count Dooku had arrived on the planet personally to conquer it.
Asajj Ventress, General Grievous, bounty hunter Cad Bane, and of course a large army of Battle Droids came to assist Count Dooku in the large scale takeover of Naboo.
A large battalion of over two hundred B-1 Battle Droids, fifty B-2 Super Battle Droids, and 8 Magna Droids marched into the capital of Theed which was the closest city on Naboo to the underwater city of the Gungans.
Inside a research and development on the west side of the capital Jedi and Sith forces make contact, and after some banter between Count Dooku, Anakin, and Obi-Wan Kenobi the battle ensues.
Red and Blue lasers light up the room from Clone and Droid blasters, casualties from both beginning right way as the Jedi do their best to cover their troops with their Lightsabers.
Captain Rex took cover behind a desk and primed an EMP grenade to take out the enemy Droids, while Magna Droids wielding their Electrostaffs attacked the Jedi.
“What’s wrong dooku can’t fight us yourself?” Obi-Wan said, jumping into the air and defeating three of the eight advanced Droids using remarkable swordplay.
Behind Obi-Wan two other Magna Droids raise their staffs in preparation to strike down the Jedi Master, before they were sliced in half by Anakin Skywalker.
“You haven’t gotten rusty now have you Master?” Anakin said, giving his mentor a hard time after seeing him let down his guard.
“What are you waiting for, get in there and protect me!” Newt Gunray commanded, only interested in saving his own skin in the battle.
“Roger, Roger.” one of the droids said charging the Jedi warriors, only to be sliced in two by Mace Windu’s purple Lightsaber.
“Ventress I believe the time has come for you to enter the battle my young assassin.” Count Dooku commanded, the bald woman jumping into the air and striking Anakin back before activating her weapons.
Obi-Wan turned to help his former Padawan but was unable to after sensing a faint presence behind him along with the whirling of several Lightsabers, turning on his own and blocking an attack.
“General Kenobi, your Lightsaber will make an interesting addition to my collection.” General Grievous stated, as if victory offer a Jedi Master was easy.
“You haven’t defeated me yet.” Obi-Wan declared, using the force to push Grievous back and allow himself room to fight back.
Following this Mace Windu being the strong and silent type in battle leapt into action against Count Dooku himself, Cad Bane flying into the room as instructed and taking out the remaining Clone’s with the exception of Rex in the blink of an eye.
“Stand down Jedi, you’ve been defeated.” Bane said, pointing two guns at Anakin and Obi-wan who were busy with their own battles, the remaining Droids aiming down at them behind him.
“Not if I can help it!” Rex yelled, throwing the EMP grenade and shutting down the internal circuits of the Droids before aiming his weapon and floating bounty hunter.
Finally after a few short minutes the battle between the separatists and the Republic reached a stalemate with neither side having a clear advantage over the overs.
With four separate fights happening towards the center of the room Next Gunray took cover behind Count Dooku for protection, before to door opened behind the Jedi side.
“Oh no.” Anakin said, seeing that it was Representative Jar Jar Binks of the senate attempting to enter the room, trying to fight off Ventress so he could use the force o close the door.
“Mesa here to help you fight.” Jar Jar announced, running into the room and tripping after only one step.
The Gungan representative of Taboo reached out to a nearby counter to try and catch himself, pressing a button under the table with his thumb that normally wouldn’t be pressed.
Suddenly a strange purple gas filled the room from the test chamber in the corner, followed by an alarm and mechanical shutters closed everyone off from the outside world.
The gas was so thin that nobody was immune to it, not even Rex’s helmet or Grievous’s face mask were able to block the gas from entering their lungs and changing them.
“Danger, danger, experimentally agent #314 has been released, danger, danger.(Repeat)” was spoken over the loudspeaker several times.
The gas filled the room until nothing could be seen, although everyone could feel the effect of the gas filling their lungs as the sound off a vacuum could be heard overhead.
Lightsabers, weapon, as well as other things could be felt growing out of their hands, anything that wasn’t organic like clothing, or General Grievous’s armor carved from a creature on a distant world shrunk with them.
When the gas cleared the room appeared empty at a first glance, but in actuality everyone inside had been shrunk down to an inch tall in height.
"My Lightsaber!" Anakin yelled, unable to fight without his weapon which while inactivated was several times his size.
"That's a big clanker." Rex said, walking outside his helmet to see that the cut up and destroyed Droids didn't change in size like the rest of them had.
After a few more apparent observations the group gathered at the center of the room, Assaj Ventress and General Grevious ready to killed Jar Jar for shrinking them.
"Patience..." Count Dooku stepped in, stopping his apprentice and top general from killing anybody just yet.
"We must work with the Jedi if any of us are to escape this ordeal." Dooku finished turning to Anakin, Windu, and Obi-Wan for conformation.
"Or we could just let you stay like this, I think being the size of a bug suits you well." Anakin teased, pointing out that he wasn't willing to help anyone from his side.
Just then a presence could be felt by both the Jedi and the Sith, coming closer to them after hearing the alert as the door beeped and slowly opened.
