Chapter #5

The growth slows to a halt, the twins exploring...

Inch by inch the twins grew taller, forcing Patrick to watch as they rose higher and higher above him. Their clothes, made for rather short twelve-year-old boys, now seemed ridiculous trying to cling on to their bodies, which were now bigger than most adults! The front of their shirts had both completely ripped open, revealing their smooth, flat chests and stomachs, still looking similar to how they had looked before, just a lot... larger! Their pants didn't seem to be doing much better, ripped to shreds below the knees and squeeze tightly around their crotches. It was obvious that the sensation of growing was very pleasurable to the two boys; their straining bulges proved it!

With one hand still firmly on Patrick's arm, Nate unclasped his hand from Nick's and brought it up to his chest. He began to slowly run down it with his fingers, closing his eyes and feeling his skin and brushing against his nipple. "Mmmm," he moaned, "this feels better than you could possibly imagine, Patrick! Too bad you'll never--" He stopped mid-sentence, whimpering slightly, then opened his eyes, frowning slightly. "Ah, dang it!"

Grinning, Nick took his arms and folded them over his chest. "You forgot that we have to stay touching to keep growing, didn't you?"

"Yeah..." Nate sighed, "but that's okay. It's not like we won't get a chance to do it again, right?" He let go of Patrick, the older teen quickly backing away to the wall, staring up at his brothers dumbfounded.

Nick only smiled in return, then turned his eyes down to see the results of what he and his brother had just done. Whistling, he nodded in approval. "Impressive."

"That's one word for it," Patrick muttered under his breath, the twins either not hearing him or ignoring him. They certainly were a sight to behold; both were just over seven and a half feet tall, their massive figures still pale and boyish in proportion. He wasn't even as tall as their shoulders, and he didn't like the sound of what Nate had said about "doing it again". What on earth could've caused this, he wondered-- and what could he possibly do about it now?

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a car door slamming in the driveway outside. Turning around and looking out the window, his heart sank as he saw both of his parents in their car, now backing out of the driveway. They weren't supposed to leave until tomorrow, he thought. Where the hell are they going?

As he spun back around to face the twins, Patrick noticed that they seemed to be eyeing each other a little suggestively. Nate was still feeling himself up, while Nick had brought his hand up behind his head, blushing while leaning back. He didn't like where this was going; they were his brothers, after all! But what could he do to stop these two adolescents who each had a good foot and a half on him?

Shaking his head, he waited until the twins each seemed to be completely distracted by each other, then quickly stepped around them and out of their bedroom. Neither of them did anything to stop him, too enamored with their bodies -- and with each other.

Patrick headed downstairs to the kitchen, hoping that his parents had left some clue or indication on why that had left tonight, instead of tomorrow like they had planned. Sure enough, there was a note on the kitchen table, but as Patrick sat down and started to read it, he could feel his stomach grow sick.

"Patrick," it read, "We've known this day would come for years, but it still is as hard to deal with now as it was when we first heard about it. As you've probably discovered by now, Nick and Nate are no ordinary 12-year-old boys. They're descended from a race of godlike beings who can manipulate their size and physical characteristics at will, once they've reached this age. These traits have laid dormant in the DNA of their predecessors for thousands of years, but the right combination of recessive genes are present in them to allow them to use this power once again. Our family took them in because we descended from the caretakers of this race, and they're genetically conditioned to listen to us and do what we say, at least most of the time. We're the only ones who can guide them and help them learn how to contain themselves, and keep them from becoming a destructive force to society. Your mother and I have done our best over these last twelve years, but once they come into full control of their power, they must imprint onto a new caretaker, which is you, Patrick. We wish we could've given you more guidance than this, but any hint of influence from us beyond these basic instructions would seriously jeopardize your ability to control the twins. We know that you're strong enough to do it, though, and though we can never see you or your brothers again, we'll always be watching over all of you. Love, Mom and Dad."

Letting the letter drop to the floor, Patrick slumped back in the chair, his head swimming with questions. Why would his parents never even hint at something like this before? How is any of this possible? And what the hell can he do to get the twins to listen to him if they're able to grow whenever they want? It all seemed like a strange and horrible nightmare, and he sat there staring, hoping that by realizing it was a dream he would wake up from it. But minutes passed, and nothing changed.

"Well," he said aloud finally, "if what this letter says is true, then I suppose I need to be back up their with the twins and make sure they're not doing anything too..." He didn't know quite how to finish that sentence. Still shaking a little from the shock, he rose to his feet and slowly made his way back to the staircase. Climbing up the stairs, he listened for the sounds of Nate and Nick doing-- well, the things that they looked like they were about to do when he left the room. But he heard nothing.

As he reached their bedroom door, which was closed, he placed his hand on the handle and took a deep breath. Opening the door, he was shocked to see--
