You really needed to go. So you told your mom. You said, Mom, I have to go to the bathroom." This was something you would say, but much like how your reflection was changed, what you mother heard was, "Mommy, need to potty."
"Sure honey," she said.
You got out of your seat. You realized you needed to go even more than you thought. It was like that time in the car when you were stuck in traffic for hours. You really had to go. You ran to the bathroom. You pulled down your pants and then your pull-ups. You didn't even have to think about it, you turned around and sat on the toilet. It was lucky for you that the seat was down or you would have 'fell in'. The pee released immediately. You felt relief as you let it flow.
When you were through, you followed Allie's potty instructions. It was as though you had been drilled in the procedure for months on end. You took some toilet tissue and wiped yourself. You knew 'Always wipe from from to back.' Then you threw the scrap into the toilet and flushed.
It was only after you were done that you notice in your pull-up that you didn't get to the toilet on time. Your pull-up was a little wet. You pulled in into place regardless and then pulled up your jeans. Finally, you washed your hands in the sink. As you turned to leave, you saw you forgot to close the door. You felt embarrassed for forgetting to close the door as well as not making it to the toilet on time.
