You aim the remote and press the life swap button. As soon as you press the button, you find yourself standing where Mega Man had been, and you instantly realise your body has become a robotic version of yourself, as your mind, now your processor, is flooded with a torrent of new data. Mega Man had been walking when you had swapped with him, and as you were busy acclimating to the new data flowing through your circuits, you stopped. However, you soon realised that your thoughts were moving at lightspeed, rather literally, and your software was unhindered by the limitations of your robotic body’s new hardware. As you lowered your foot, you managed to adjust to the data constantly streaming in, and were able to run a complete diagnostic on your body. Your new robotic body had the same dimensions as your old human body, and matched it down to the last detail, with your hair now being a single piece of sculpted metal. You were also completely naked, but since you were mechanical, it didn’t really matter much, and your new robotic body didn’t have any attributes, so to speak. You were also able to briefly skim Mega Man’s memories as you came to a halt, learning the basics of his life, in case you decided to continue living as Mega Man.
Despite the fact that your robotic brain was working at the speed of light, you were still able to process sensory input at the same speed as a human, and heard the distinctive sound of your Jet Boots behind you.
