"Let's split up gangs!" Fred started off with their yet another mystery hunt.
Unlike the previous mystery's, only Fred and Velma remained enthusiastic on their new mystery filled adventure. Shaggy and Scooby as always seems to just go along for the ride. Daphne for once, is actually truly fed up with their so called adventures. Adding up to that was Fred's excessive and incessant flirting.
So just as Fred was about to start dividing the groupings Daphne decided to take lead, "I'll go with Shaggy to basement. While Velma could go with you Fred to look for clues. And as for Scooby, he should be on standby here, you know to guard the van."
Which surprised Fred and Shaggy. Velma meanwhile became emboldened by what she perceive as Daphne allowing her a chance with Fred. Scooby meanwhile was excited to finally get free from searching for new horrors in unfamiliar places.
"But-!", "Zoinks!", "Scooby-dooby doo!" Was Fred's, Shaggy's and Scooby's reply as Velma remained silent.
Fred being cut-off by Shaggy's and Scooby's stronger exclamation were prevented from further speaking. Hence Shaggy immediately start protesting, "But basement's are where it's most scary. Why do you want me to go there?".
"Well so you prefer to search it up alone huh Shaggy?!" Daphne pushed back.
Unable to reply to that Daphne then immediately dragged Shaggy towards the mansion they're about to investigate.
