Nicole led the way onto the vehicle. The cage on the back of the truck rolled slowly along the plain. After a few short minutes, Rachel hopped up and down at the sight of a bunch of animals. There were cheetahs, lions, gazelles, and okapis nearby. Rachel had been mesmerized by the cheetah chasing a gazelle, and Matilda watched the gazelle's lithe movements. The okapi, shy like Ingrid was, came near to her, as she stood in awe. Nicole was creeped by her friends' viewing of the animals, but a lion on a cliff caught her eye and she was captured by its beauty. The lion leapt off the cliff and the other animals seemed to follow. The lion jumped at the safari vehicle as it followed, snapping the four girls out of their confusion. At the end of the ride, they felt a bit sick, so they leaned in an alley near a building and relaxed. Suddenly, Ingrid felt a tug on her hair. Her short hair lengthened to cover her entire body like a cocoon. Her arm was swallowed by her blonde hair, which was beginning to turn brown. White and black lines crisscrossed over her hair in strands. Next, Matilda felt her arm fall asleep. She shook it, and her braids came undone, bobbed, and lengthened. Each time she shook, it surrounded her even more. Nicole tried to stop her, but she couldn't hear. Her ears had folded in and hardened like solid rock. She was enveloped all of a sudden, and her hair-cocoon turned a dim cream. Rachel was next. Her long hair grabbed her arms, and a needle and thread appeared. She was forced to spool the thread with her needle, and her arms were moved quickly back and forth. As the thread was put on a spool, her hair turned golden and extended. When her hair let go, she was wrapped up. Nicole jumped and leaned back, as Rachel's hair had a stray sandy strand that gripped her and cocooned her in a fraction of a second. Her screams of "SHIT! AAH!" were picked up by a walkie-talkie nearby. An officer heard her and came all the way from EPCOT only to find a cheetah, an okapi, a gazelle, and a regal lioness all curled up and passed out in a cornet behind a building.
