Suzy sat down on a hard cement stump in the restaurant area, she and her brother had already done everything to make their parents think they’d had an excellent time so she knew they would be leaving soon. Suzy sighed, she was supposed to spend an entire week here, but now all she had gotten was a t-shirt, a few pictures, and a wave from Cinderella and she’d spend the rest of her so-called vacation like she spent all her time; alone and with only her imagination to entertain her.
Ever since Suzy was little, Suzy had always been a very smart girl, at first that was okay, but as Suzy entered elementary school she was quickly labeled a teacher's pet, and all her friends abandoned her, Suzy’s mother and father said sooner or later Suzy would make new friends. However, as Suzy waited and waited for new friends to arrive she found herself quite alone; her parents always working and her brother wanted nothing to do with her. Suzy found solace in her imagination; creating adventures for herself, and her toys were Suzy’s only means of entertaining herself until she discovered Disney. All of Disney’s movies had such cool characters, and it wasn't long before Suzy found herself escaping reality through Disney magic. Suzy would also imagine herself in the stories and find friends within the many characters in Disney. Suzy sometimes wished she was in a Disney movie as they were always filled with people who stuck together and lonely people who could find happiness and friendship. However, it sometimes occurred to Suzy that like ice powers, talking fish, and magical hair that could heal such people and miracles could only happen in movies.
“Poor child,” said a voice. Suzy looked up at her food, and she saw two women approaching her; one was slightly overweight with black hair, and the other was thin and blonde. “Poor, sweet child.” The black haired women went on.
“She has a severe problem,” the blonde woman agreed.
“Who, who are you?” Suzy asked. “Just so you know my brother is right over there!” Suzy pointed to a nearby table where her brother was flirting with some girls not even looking in her direction.
“Don’t be scared,” the blonde woman soothed, “we’re here to help you.”
“My name,” the black haired women entered the conversation, “is Mary and this is Sara.”
“We,” Sara responded, “are witches, and we can help you.”
“No way,” Suzy got up from her seat, “I saw The Little Mermaid, I know what happens. You offer to magically to take all my problems away, and then you take away my voice and try to take everything from me.”
“You are a wise child,” Mary complimented, “all magic comes at a price.”
“Ours is no different,” Sara added.
“However, if you come with us to meet our sister we can tell you our plan, then we’ll talk about payment,” Mary explained.
“Why should I go with you?” Suzy demanded.
“You said it yourself, you saw The Little Mermaid it is true magic got Ariel into trouble but did she not end up in her happily ever after?” Sara questioned. “Magic is only a tool, and though it always has a price it can bring happiness, and that’s what we’re offering you.”
“Aren't you tired of being alone?” Mary inquired, “aren't you willing to take the chance?”
Suzy looked over at her brother who still wasn't even checking on her. Sara smiled, “well?”
