Chapter #4

He lets you go, with a warning.

You sit through about 15 more minutes of scolding and suddenly, one of the teachers walks into the room.

"Mr. Foley."

"Yes? What is it?"

"One of the students wants to know if she can speak to you and (*Name*)."

Mr. Foley thinks about it for a few moments.

"Fine, send her in." he says

Finally a friendly face. You recognize her from your class, you think her name is Serah.

"What is it you need?" asked the principle

"Mr. Foley, why is (*Name*) in trouble?" asked the young girl

"For hurting another student, didn't you see what happened?"

"Yes, sir, I did" she says "But (*Name*) was only defending himself! Lance threw the first punch, right after threatening him."

You couldn't believe it, you didn't even know this girl that well and now she's defending you after punching someone.

"Is this true?" asked Mr.Foley

"Yes, sir." you respond matter-of-factly

"Alright... I'll let you go, this time, but if you're involved in something like this again, you'll be suspended on the spot. Am I clear on that?"

You happily give a nod and leave the office.

Just after, you hear the principal's assistant call Lance into the room and you head back to class.
