Without any sort of warning, Audrey let go of her sister in between her fingers. The tiny speck began to fall and disappeared underneath a sea of thick ranch.
Below, Penny sputtered and struggled to stay afloat. The viscous liquid kept dragging her down, and she kept taking in mouthfuls of the sauce. Unfortunately for her, she hated ranch, and now she was nearly drowning in it.
Not too long later, Riley returned and took a seat across from her older sister. “You get anything for Penny?” she asked, opening her box of chicken nuggets.
“Nah” Audrey answered, unwrapping her burger from it’s paper. “She can eat when we get there.”
“That’s so cruel of you.”
Audrey resisted the urge to say anything. Instead, she bit her cheek and watched as her sister unceremoniously scooped a rather large glob of ranch with a nugget.
Penny watched as her massive sister Riley began to loom above. She shuddered and watched as Riley’s fingers began to fiddle around with the sports arena sized cardboard box next to her.
“Riley! Riley! Help!”
Unfortunately, Penny’s cries were drowned out by the sound of the conversation above and Audrey unwrapping her cheeseburger.
A massive hunk of chicken the size of a city block hung above and immediately began to plummet down into the sea of ranch dressing.
