This choice: The nerd in Riley's closet. • Go Back...Chapter #4Downsized Dweeberson by: Frost Riley was not a clean person. That was probably Daniel Dwebson's biggest takeaway from the night spent trapped in Riley's closet. Even though the cramped space was dark, he could smell a faint cheesy odor. As the night passed, his nose became blind to the smell, which he was thankful for. However, he could not ignore the booming music playing from the party he was kept away from.
This is bullshit, he thought, struggling against the ropes. His escape seemed near impossible, but that didn't stop him from imagining a miracle scenario like a policeman breaking up the party and discovering him or better yet, Riley finding him and shrinking those responsible. Unfortunately, none of those would happen as he passed out from exhaustion a few hours later.
The next morning, he woke up in the dark. At first, Daniel panicked, struggling against the bonds that kept him tight. The fear subsided, and the anger returned. This party was supposed to be his way into Riley's circle of friends, and they had just tossed him aside like a piece of trash. He quickly resolved to complain to the school administration once he got out.
Then, he heard rumbling. It started off as a low, muffled sound in the distance, but its intensity and duration grew by the second. He couldn't help but be reminded of the scene in Jurassic Park when the T-Rex began to approach.
A second later, the closet door opened, and a flood of blinding light entered the room. This was it, he was going to be saved! Dweeberson couldn't help but tried to shield his eyes, only to realize that his arms were still bound to his size. Still, he couldn't help but feel happy at his rescue.
However, once his eyesight returned, his hope began to disappear. She didn't seem to notice him at all, and there were even moment where her eyes passed over him. At first, he couldn't figure out why. Then his mind slowly began to pick up the pieces.
Riley had shrunk him.
She was absolutely massive, how it took him a while to notice was beyond him. Though, the fact that she also hadn't noticed him left him even more terrified. He looked up at her face, which was contorted into a slight scowl, and the sleep hadn't left her eyes. She was still pretty, but Daniel even found that intimidating.
The giant woman bent far over him and picked up a few items from a mountain of discarded clothing. Daniel was in awe, knowing that each giant piece of fabric could bury him, and it would take hours for him to escape from it.
Then, Riley looked down at him. He struggled with all his life, hoping that would get her to recognize him. He was so close. However, things didn't work out that way as the giant woman stuffed her left foot into a slipper that sat right next to him.
It didn't take long for him to pinpoint where he was. Daniel struggled harder, trying to scream for her attention. Unfortunately, his mouth was gagged, and all he could do was lay there helpless as Riley lifted her foot over him. Once again, he tried to shield himself with his arms, but it did nothing to slow the encroaching foot as it steamrolled over him.
Riley loved her slippers. They were stupidly soft, and she loved them for that. She scrunched her toes, feeling the soft fabric bunch up between her digits. Satisfied at the slight bit of comfort, Riley made her way over to the kitchen to start her day.
It wasn't until now that Daniel realized how small he truly was. The giant toes that ran over him ranged from a small house to an entire city block. He was buried underneath the gigantic woman's foot, dragged along into the depths of the foul smelling cave.
The fleshy digits around him began to constrict, and he found himself caught between the fluffy floor and Riley's toes, fighting for air. What little breaths he took in resulted in inhaling the stale scent of sweat and strawberry foot lotion.
Then the world started moving. The diminutive Daniel felt every earth shattering step as it knocked out his air and threatened to break his bones. He tried to scream, only to be blocked by the gag from last night. He tried to breath, only to take in the smell of Riley's feet.
Riley ended the kitchen. Her head still pounded. She walked around, searching the cabinets while preparing her breakfast. Not too long after, she found the painkillers she was looking for on the top shelf. She could've grown an inch or two, but she didn't standing up on her toes to reach the bottle.
That choice, proved disastrous for the shrunken twenty-one year old. All of Riley's weight was focused onto the small surface area that held Daniel. The giant fleshy digits pressed him harder into the ground, fully embedding him into his surroundings.
As Riley waited for her toast, she sat on top of the counter, her slippers hanging off the tips of her toes. She wiggled her digits, watching as the blue slippers shook with her movements.
Daniel wasn't sure if he'd rather stay stuck to the sole of the slipper or take his chances falling down and out the slipper. Neither guaranteed safety, and some arguments could be made that he would be worse off if he were stranded on the kitchen floor.
However, he wasn't allowed much of a choice as the suffocating mass of Riley's foot engulfed him once again, returning him to a world of hurt and humiliation.
Each step crushed, and the repetitive motion did nothing to help him as he would only dread the incoming footfall.
After breakfast, Riley entered her bathroom, finding it empty and intact. She slipped off her slippers and began to strip before entering the shower. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
