The scouts say that she's trying to force Rilian into marrying her. They also say that the prince has gained a lot of weight, but the scouts also claim that Rilian looked like he was lifting some heavy weights the other day. They theorize that she may be gradually brainwashing him or he has developed Stockholm Syndrome."
"That's preposterous! Rilian has been dead for two months! There's no damn way he's alive!"
"We're sorry sire, but they speak the truth. There's even a letter from Rilian stating that you should abdicate the throne immediately or else you'll be removed by high court order."
"Let me see the damn letter! For years Rilian has been threatening my life! To him I'm a wicked, perverted, fool! The truth is Rilian is in his right mind!"
Ivar trembled in anger. It's true that Rilian saw his father as a danger to the kingdom. Secretly Ivar was relieved to hear that his eldest son was missing. Before he went off with an army Rilian threatened to expose his adulterous acts to the church. But now Ivar couldn't weasel his way out of this. Once Rilian shows up, yet fatter than when he first left Ivar knew he would have to answer for his abuse of power. Ivar slowly opens the letter/ To his surprise it wasn't very long. However, the message was clear.
Father,
during my imprisonment in Erolus Princess Luna kept on insisting her that we wed. After getting to know her for two months we found that we both shared hatred toward your tyrannical rule. Your foolishness threatens the kingdom and must be put to an end. Once I return with my new fiance I'm going to have you face trial before you get banished forever. Enjoy your rule while you can traitor for your treason against your own kingdom will not be tolerated!

Ivar exploded with anger after reading the letter. With the Prince Roberto arriving from Ordania tomorrow to marry Isabelle this was the worst new yet.
"That definitely sounds like Rilian. Clearly we can scratch the idea of being brainwashed out the window. Prince Rilian wants revenge. We advised you to send a search party. Looks like the rumors about you, Ivar, are true." A nobleman said as he looked at the letter.
"Yeah, I heard that he almost had sex with his own daughter. Incest has always been disapproved by the church. I can't believe he would stoop that low." Another noble said as he looked out the window."
Ivar was bubbling mad at this point. Already some of his men were going to betray him for Rilian. "Enough! This is clearly some farce. There's no way Rilian would banish his father. I taught the boy everything he knows." Ivar said hoping that denial would bury this family issue under the rug. By trying to avoid family matters only caused one to arise. It was like the Goddess was punishing him for his sins. His Justice obsessed son was marrying a religious psycho. A psycho who's a sorceress. Ivar looked at the nobles. Many of them looked at him as if he were a criminal. Before Ivar could get back to a topic that didn't involve Rilian...
