Sokka proceeds to collapse as Sif pulls her claw from his chest. Sokka watches in amazement as his chest heals completely well his shoulder wound leaves a scar.

“I thought you would like to show off that scar, after all it was earned in honorable combat Sokka.” Sif tells Sokka with a grandmotherly smile as odd as that sounds.

“Thank you, Lady Sif.” Sokka tells the great beast before sinking back down into the water.

“Let me help you up boy.” Yuka tells Sokka as she holds out her hand for him, she was already fully healed.

“Thank you, Yuka.” Sokka says as he takes the woman’s hand.

Yuka pulls Sokka up to his feet with ease.

“This boomerang, it is a fine weapon that is truly worthy of a King. Don’t lose it without good cause Hunter King Sokka.” Yuka tells Sokka as she hands boomerang back to him.

“Mr. Sokka here is what you asked for. I found a full set of the Southern Water Tribe’s style of water bending. There is also a full set of all three water tribes healing methods. I also thought you might like this book it’s about are culture.” Yumi says as she gives Sokka two boxes of scrolls and a book.

“Thank you, Yumi.” Sokka says before he is hit in the head with a bag.

“Food for your journey, I’ll show you to the hidden exit tunnel.” Soma tells Sokka as he stands up.

“Yes sir.” Sokka tells Soma, considering the fact that the guy scared him.

Sokka fallows Soma through several twisting tunnels until they came to a bolder. Soma jumps ten feet into the air and grabs a stalactite, he pulls it and the bolder moves.

“That was smart placing the opening lever were only one of your race or an air bender can reach.” Sokka says with a smile.

“Here boy I want you to have this.” Soma says as he hands Sokka a machete.

“Thank you Soma. I promise to read the book your daughter gave me. Are there others of your race.” Sokka asks the older man.

“Yes like the four nations of man there are four tribes of the gorilla-lynx. We have been out of contact with are sister tribes since your world war started.” Soma tells Sokka looking grim.

“I will try to get ahold of some of them when I head to the Northern Tribe around next year. I do need to tell both the other southern Villages, the northern tribe and the Foggy Swamp Tribe, that there is a new king.” Sokka says with a serious face.

“I’ll hold you to that boy. You may use me as your first creature.” Soma says as he holds out his hand.

Sokka shakes Soma’s and draws in a bit of his chi.

“I will hold you to your promise. Your village is two days in that direction. Safe travels boy. And be for you complain you will not be a man in my eyes until you keep your promise.” Soma says before leaving Sokka to the ice, shutting the hidden gate behind him.
Sokka slides his new machete in the slot his club used to be before heading towards his village.

Two days later

Notai and Katara were waiting at the front gate. They had a feeling Sokka would return soon. They spot a figure approaching in the distance. As it gets closer they see it is Sokka.

“big brother/Sokka.” the two girls yell as they run to greet Sokka glad he was still alive.
