Dewey shakes off his nerves seeing his mom's gaze has been drawn towards his brothers. Right now Lois thinks they are toys and maybe for the time being that would be best. He had to get her attention before she discovered they were actually her shrunken sons. Dewey looked behind him. There on the nightstand stood his brother's giant alarm clock. If he could set it off it could draw Lois attention away long enough so his brothers could escape.
Lois bent down to get a better look at the figures by her sneaker. They must have tiny batteries because she swore they were moving on the ground.
"Wow these toys look so real."
Looking at the tiny toys by her feet Lois can't help but imagine what it would be like if her real sons were this size. For years she has struggled to keep command of the house. It was only getting harder as her boys were growing up. They'd definitely be a lot easier to control at that size. She could carry them all in her pocket. Use them to clean hard to reach places around the house. Not to mention get really creative with her punishments.
Dewey runs over to the clock. He quickly climbs to the peak. Standing up at the top he jumps down on the alarm button with all his weight.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
"What the hell!", Lois caught off guard by the sudden noise turned back towards the night stand.
The sound of the alarm clock blared loudly throughout the room. Dewey clasped both his hands against his ears to avoid going deaf standing on top of the clock. His plan had worked allowing his brothers to escape. But now he found himself right in Lois's sight line.
Lois switched off the alarm. She was about to turn away when she noticed the little replica of Dewey had moved.
