Misty awoke with a bad headache and a bad memory. The last memory that Misty had was the three of them--Ash, herself and Brock--heading for the lifeboats because the ocean liner they were on was sinking for some reason. What exactly caused the ship to sink she couldn't remember. She had a vague memory of running into Team Rocket at one point....were they in the lifeboat too? Had those three caused the ship to sink?
It was the sound of hammering that had awoken Misty. The next thing that Misty noticed was the breeze that came across her body. She opened her eyes which felt slightly gummy and saw a blue sky with a few clouds. From what she could tell she was lying on a beach. She tried to sit up but was restrained. Puzzled, Misty lowered her head so she could see the rest of her body where she noticed two things; she was completely naked and she was covered up in tiny little ropes! She tried to break free from the ropes but it was no use. There must've been thousands of ropes tied around her body....and they were such tiny little things! How could something that small be so strong?! And why was she naked?! Did some pervert remove her clothes? For several minutes, Misty struggled in the tiny little ropes that held her down. She managed to break few of the ropes but she was still held down.
"She's awake!" yelled a tiny voice. Misty looked around and saw a tiny little person standing on her exposed chest somewhat close to her nipple. The little person was dressed in blue jeans and a plain shirt. Misty squinted at the person who looked familiar.
"Of course I'm awake" said Misty. The sheer volume of her voice made the little person cover his ears. Misty winced and lowered her voice to ask a question. "where am I anyway?"
"You're on the island of Lillia" replied the little person. "my name is Roger. I'm the one that found you"
"What happened to my clothes?" asked Misty in her lowered voice. "why can't I break free of these ropes? Why are you so small?"
"So many questions..." said Roger. "I simply found you that way; I saw no clothing that could fit someone as big as you. The ropes are made from this strong material found on this island and.....I'm this size because I was born this way"
"That's enough, Roger" snapped another voice and another tiny person appeared on Misty's chest! The tiny person must've climbed up on her body clearly but why couldn't she felt these little people walking on her? The little people were perhaps twenty inches tall. The second tiny person was dressed in some kind of paramilitary uniform. "Don't tell the giantess our secrets"
"And who are you?" asked Misty to the second person.
"I'm Captain Hawk of the Lillia army" said the second person.
"Did you happen to see anyone else my size?" asked Misty.
"No" said Hawk.
"Should there be?" asked Roger.
"At least two" said Misty.
"Oh great" said Captain Hawk "just what we needed. An invasion of giants"
"We're not invading!" snapped Misty. "we were in a ship that sunk!"
Captain Hawk and Roger exchanged glances. "Must've been the reef" said Roger.
"This island is surrounded by a razor-sharp reef" said Captain Hawk. "if ships aren't careful they can run into it and sink"
"That's how we came to be here" said Roger.
"Don't tell her about us!" barked Captain Hawk.
"Okay..." said Misty. "why did you tie me up?!"
"To prevent you from going berserk and killing all on this island" said Captain Hawk.
"But I wouldn't do that" said Misty.
"That's what they all say" said Captain Hawk. "my superiors are trying to figure out what to do with you now"
"I won't hurt anyone" said Misty. "I'm just trying to figure out what is going on here"
"Can't we free her?" asked Roger.
"Why are you still here?" asked Captain Hawk. "this is a military matter now. Get out of here"
"I was the one who found her!" protested Roger.
"And?" asked Hawk. "either get out of here or I'll make you leave"
"Hey be nice to him!" said Misty.
"Quiet, giant!"
"My name is Misty" said Misty.
At the mention of Misty's name, both Roger and Captain Hawk looked at each other with slightly shocked expressions. Captain Hawk looked at Misty then back at Roger and then back to Misty again. Roger just looked dumbfounded.
"What?" asked Misty.
"It means nothing" said Captain Hawk firmly to Roger. "she doesn't match the description in the legend. She has red hair, not blond"
"What legend?" asked Misty. "what are you talking about?" Roger tried to say something but Captain Hawk stopped him.
