"About a year." Tyler said. "Its not weirding you out is it? Most people don't like me talking about me being gay."
"No its fine." Rose said. "Its natural for someone to talk about something they like."
"I guess your right." Tyler smiled.
"Have you had a girlfriend?" Rose asked.
"No," Tyler sighed. "Most girls I like are straight."
"That's a shame." Rose said.
"Yeah," Tyler said. "But I've been afraid to tell anyone how I feel."
"Why?" Rose asked. "Sure most girls might be straight but there will be that one girl who will feel the same."
"There is a reason," Tyler sighed. "Last year my friends had a party and most of my friends got drunk. I didn't get drunk but I tried to look after one of my friends Maddie. She was one of my best friends and I started to have stronger feelings for her so I decided to tell her. She kissed me and i kissed her back. We didn't do anything else, we only kissed. It wasn't a good idea with her being drunk because the next day when I told her she didn't want to remember it. She told me that it meant nothing to her and she doesn't want to be friends with me because she doesn't want to be near me because it reminds her of what happened. I have never talked to her since."
