While the city had some cool things going for it, riding around in a tour bus sounded positively lame. Being carted around with a bunch of tourists taking pictures of every insignificant thing was not Molly's idea of fun. It wasn't up to her though, so she would just have to endure it. She just hoped she would be able to convince her parents to let her do something fun by herself later on in the week- she already felt like she needed a break from her family.
They finally reached the place where the tour bus was waiting for them- a little late, as the tour guide had already started giving her introductory speech. Molly already disliked her- she smiled too much and kept trying to make the tourists participate by shouting back at her.
"So, are we excited for the tour to start?"
"YES!" came the reply.
The tour guide shook her finger. "Nope, not good enough! Let's try it again. Are we EXCITED for the tour to start??"
"YYYEESSS!!!" Molly rolled her eyes and her mother, who had shouted enthusiastically, gave her a disapproving look.
Although the bus ride was already shaping up to be a major pain, it started to look a lot worse for Molly when, as she was boarding the bus...
