Although she had to squeeze between audience members several times, none of them paid her any mind. Being fully enthralled in Kanamin's performance, they were oblivious to the incognito idol already in their midst. It was quite possibly the only time Rise would actually be glad that another idol was more popular than her.
Edging her way past the door security, she snuck out the entrance and nearly stumbled onto the street. "Phew! That was a close one," she sighed heavily, leaning forward. She was lucky to have made it through without being further compromised.
The sound of muttering and footsteps around her caused her to straighten up immediately.
That's right! She thought, as someone walked right by her. She may be out of the frying pan, but she was still in the fire. A heavy coat and sunglasses were all she had protecting her, far away from home. She had to continue to be unnoticeable.
She steadied her coat and began walking forward along the sidewalk, grunting as she felt the roughness of the pavement on her bare feet. She hadn't realized before how important her shoes were. What if she stepped on or in something like this!? Or got knocked around by the crowds? Or got her coat caught on something? One wrong move or reaction could spell disaster!
Stuffing her hands in her coat pockets, she found some relief in feeling that her personal belongings were still with her, phone and wallet included. It was good that she was able to keep her personal belongings from those leeches, at the very least.
As she contemplated the silver lining, an idea struck! It would be pricey, but she might have just enough cash on her to buy some shoes, if not a full outfit. Then she could take the train without worrying!
Of course, there was always the chance that something could happen to her while shopping too...
