decide to get food

your stomach growled as you realized you were hungry. you were small, and thinking of eating another being made you sick, so you decided to find some berries.

after a bit of walking, you came across a berry bush...but it seemed something had gotten there first. another brown fox stood there, picking berries from the bush and eating them.

it looked at you, and you decided to speak up "m-may I have some?" you asked. your voice was different, which startled you.

"some what?" the other fox said. judging by it's voice, you could tell it was a male.

"Berries" you said quietly "I'm starving"

he looked at the berries, then back at you, as if contemplating something. "do I get anything out of it?"

you blinked. you hadn't expected that kind of answer, but you also didn't see any harm in it.
