This choice: You pursue Haruka and give her the incredible gift of growth. • Go Back... All you could do is mutter an apology under your breath for your girlfriend as you would be indirectly betraying her. Your attention is fully on Haruka, the serious young woman whom just from her last display convinced you of her deserved glory. You truly couldn't wait to see what would happen when she's mega sized when someone disobeys an order as you just did. They would get far more than just a shove you are sure. The transposer safely tucked away for the moment, you simply take off after her, keeping your distance and merely tailing her though the dense halls.
Taking your shot now would ultimately be risky if you were to miss and hit someone else, and on a bright side, you get to watch her a bit more. It is amazing that this young woman walks with such confidence considering her height. Her head is always held high, a great sense of pride coming from her and potentially making another good trait for what you intended of her. Naturally, the other students would get the same treatment as you had, only she wouldn't command anything and merely get an arm or hand up to guide them out of her way, students reacting normally to a form of contact in the halls. Though her path practically never changes, she is unwilling to move over an inch and instead wants someone else to move a foot to get out of her way.
Of course as you observe all this, you have to wonder just how you wanted to grow Haruka and by how much. Sure, your daydream of a multi-mile, unstoppable goddess is what you want, but who says you have to rush straight to that extreme? Especially after how the other girl reacted, it would be a bigger mistake if Haruka reacts in a similar fashion. Although the chances of her crying are near impossible, is it a chance worth taking? Not to mention, though desirable as that end result be, there is a familiar want in seeing just how she would react. Maybe start with the classic fifty feet and work your way up to miles. Let Haruka bask in her much deserved size and watch her hoard it over everyone, and who knows, maybe at some point you'll reveal yourself and the transposer to gain her favor.
Around this point, the sound of a female teacher could be heard yelling throughout the hall. "Ms. Nishura!" Haruka simply sighs in annoyance and turns to see one of the college professors storming after her. What you couldn't have known was that Haruka had skipped out on her class today, and after slipping a paper under the door, signed by her with the reason - that she already knew the lectures and that she was bored with the teacher's ramblings.
The two would argue for a brief moment before it was decided that they would be going to see the dean over Haruka's behavior. Now is your chance, or perhaps your only shot as Haruka is literally being led by an arm away from you despite her protests. Quietly getting the transposer out, you check the settings before covertly walking passed the two, nearly pressing the barrel against Haruka's side and opening fire.
Being the only one who knew what was going to happen, you immediately make your way for the nearest exit possible, though it wouldn't be long before you heard the screams and the rumbling of the building. You and a large percentage of the students and faculty alike would make it outside just in time for the roof to explode away, the building itself rocking, groaning and threatening to collapse in on itself. Many eyes widen as they are startled and confused by what is going on. You of course would be the only one not picking their jaw off the ground as you see the head of familiarly messy black hair rising from the dust cloud which surrenders the destroyed roof.
The high-pitched screams are heard as more and more of the titan's features are seen, and it wouldn't be long before her face was exposed for all to see just who this was - the unruly Asian girl whom now had many people screaming for this to just be a dream or begging to know how it could be real. Even the former giant girl is quivering in the arms of her boyfriend and wishing she had her larger size back if only so she would have longer legs to run away on.
Although as Haruka passes 200 feet in height and most of her body had been revealed through the rubble, the failed giantess Rebecca would have been sorely mistaken to think her lesser size would matter as she wouldn't have even been to Haruka's knees, and yet still the Japanese girl grew! Stepping out through the building, kicking rubble out without a care in the world, rubble which would kill a few of the students, crushing them under several tons of concrete, Haruka exposes her full form to the crowd, still clothed and with many eyes on those black boots of hers so near and so large the crowd could disappear under them.
Shocked for a bit longer, an eerie grin forms on Haruka's lips as she continues to climb, the crowd beneath her getting smaller and smaller. At ground level, all hell breaks loose as the deaths from her simple action had sent everything into chaos. All except you. You couldn't help but notice something attached to Haruka's left arm on the short sleeve of her shirt.
Your eyes widen for a moment as you realize it is that college professor that tried to haul her to the dean, hanging for her life from the end of the sleeve and screaming for dear life. Perhaps not the brightest of moves as it would gain Haruka's attention, causing her to look to the side and immediately laugh at her before ignoring her again, leaving her to whatever fate she chooses. To be strong and hold on or to be weak and fall to her death, neither option matters to Haruka. Granted as Haruka continues to grow, nearing 300 feet tall, you have to ask yourself, when is she going to stop?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
