"Yeah, right," Tina stings you with sarcasm. Blonde hair curls and bounces on petite shoulders as she shakes her head, "This is mine now bub!" She plays with the dial once more, adjusting it to an extreme level. Your eyes surely betray you. She wouldn't be so careless. "Now you better get out of here before I grow right through the roof!" She points the transposer to her chest, sending a sassy smirk to you.
Before you can even finish your dissenting cry, a brilliant, white light radiates from the transposer, blinding your eyes while anesthetizing your senses. Almost as in a dream, you fly, weightless in space, timeless in the moment of white luminosity. Your body warps in your mind, fluctuating with an intense energy torrent unseen around you. Then pain, as you collide with solid reality.
Opening your eyes, your surroundings are not immediately familiar. Certainly no longer inside the lab, you rest in the green grass of campus lawn. Attempting to right yourself, you ache and groan, the phosphorescent painkiller fading swiftly. Then, you understand, "I was thrown back." Several bricks mark the land beside you, the very ground disturbed in undulating waves. "The sudden expansion pushed everything nearby away at incredible speeds. The instant change in matter and space must be immense. So when Tina..." you silence your scientific speech, "Tina!"
Ahead, in the shockwave wreckage of her unwitting undertaking, Tina overwhelms the world around, honey blonde hair outshining the sun. The oversized transposer falls from her hand, crashing in colossal crater beside white soled shoes stretching longer than the width of the building. The impact unleashes dirt and deafening din at ground level, forcing you to retreat, though running away from this towering titaness would be difficult should the need arise.
Tina, three hundred feet tall if such precise measurement is required, surveys the ruins at her feet, the expression on her face showing sufficient satisfaction for miles. Her hands brush through billowy hair, smile spreading as cheeks rise, "I am so big!" Surely an understatement, her first words could be your last rites should she take a step forward. You take a breath, absorbing the only options your mind presents.
