This choice: "If you can't, you have to do without your arms for the rest of the day." • Go Back...Chapter #7"If you can't, you have to do without y... by: lord thanatos   "Sure, no problem!" you reply, causing your arms to regenerate, confident that you can grab the diary this time despite your earlier failures. Besides, even if you couldn't, there was no real way for Brad to enforce such an agreement as all you had to do was wait until you were alone to regrow your limbs and he'd never be the wiser.
"Yea, just remember that when your running around the base armless and helpless for the rest of the afternoon." Brad said, grinning evilly at the thought of having you at his mercy.
You merely scoff at that, immediately sticking your regenerated left arm through the fan blades as quickly as you can. Snatching the diary, you begin withdrawing your limb, only for it to meet a similar fate to that of the previous two you'd put in there. "Damn it!" you exclaim, though you can't help noting you did a little better than before, your arm having been chopped off just above the elbow joint this time rather than the shoulder like before.
"Better say goodbye to your arms June, you won't be seeing them for a while." Brad teased.
"Yea yea, just don't complain when I ask you for that favor latter." you reply as you cause your severed arm to regenerate slightly, causing the wound to seal over with a thin layer of skin before turning your attention back to the fan once more, watching carefully as the blade spins around, wanting to make absolutely certain you've got it down perfectly this time since this is your last shot.
"Any day now." Brad says, trying to rush you in the hopes that you'll mess up. You ignore him, flexing your arm in preparation for what you're about to do, and just as the fan rotates around, you strike, your arm lashing out with the speed of a cobra and scooping up the diary. As soon as you have a firm grip on it, you jerk your hand back...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
