"Hurry, Steven lets get out of here before he awakens.
he is sleeping so sound we could get away if we leave quickly," said Laura.
Steven took Laura by the hand and the two of them turned to walk away from the sleeping dwarf, but to their surprise his eyes popped open and he ask where they thought they were going. The two were so frightened that they just froze. The dwarf got up and walked toward the pair.
"who are you? asked the dwarf.
"III'm Steven and this is Laura.
"What are you doing in my forest?"
"We are truly sorry we are lost."
Steven and Laura were shaking and they were terribly frightened by the little dwarf. They had heard that the little dwarfs had special magical powers and they were afraid the dwarf would use this magic to harm them.
"I am Heeshe the Dwarf of these woods you are trespassing in my home I can not have you do so.
Laura leaned towards Steven and whispered in his ear,
"he is just so little you could overtake him and I could help you".
OH so you plan to bring harm to me do you!
it would seem as if Heeshe had extra ordinary hearing powers and he overheard her idea to escape his woods.
I can not let you go you will try to bring harm to we dwarfs.
"You mean there are more of you?" asked Laura.
as there are leaves on the trees there are dwarfs in the woods. when you harm one you will meet with them all."
"Please let us go we mean you no harm we are just trying to find our way out of these woods." pleaded Laura.
"You, Heeshe pointed to Steve, Why did you come here?"
"We wer were lost we are not here to harm you." stated Steve as he trembled with fear.
"I believe you both are here to still the gold we have and the jewels of diamonds, rubies, sapphire and onyx.
Already a young man came whilst we slept and took off with our silver and emeralds. We can not trust you humans you are up to no good you are thieves and that is all you know how to do is bring harm to the forest and the creatures therein . "
"But sir we did not even know you had these jewels we don't want them all we want is to go home. please just let us be on our way," pleaded Laura
Within a moment they looked around them and they were surrounded by dwarfs there must have been a hundred of them. Heeshe brought forth a large cage such as an animal would be placed in. and he had two of the larger dwarfs take the pair of humans and lock them in the cage.
"What are you going to do to us?" said Steve.
Laura began to cry and shake all over with fear.
"They are going to eat us or make clothes of our skin," she cried to Steve.
Steve was also frightened by the experience.
Heeshe just looked at the two and told them to settle down he did not know what he would do with them yet.
"we are not monsters" said the dwarf, "humans are the monsters."
