This would be the last day that Doug worked at his 'old' job. You decided that Dad needed a new job where he would be bossed around more. So that when Dad came home you changed his mind so a new job would be more natural to him.
First thing you did was remove everything that Dad learned in college. He wouldn't need that for his new job. Then you did the same about high school. Now Dad had only the education from middle school. Then you put new memories into Dad's head. He remembered his Mom (your Grandma) sending him out after middle school to clean houses and he has been doing that ever since. You gave him the memories of which houses he cleaned. (You would 'talk' to the neighbors so they would know it too. Dad was now a professional maid. You then instructed his mind to dress the part. He would get himself a maiding uniform (one which included a dress, tan or nude pantyhose and shoes with a thick rubbery tread.) He would have to have his hair permed and put up and wear professional makeup. He thought he was a great maid who would do anything his clients wants. You would make sure some of the clients would have weird requests. Thus began Doug's career as a professional maid.
While you were putting these ideas into Dad's head there was a knock on the door. It was the paper boy collecting his fees. You decided that since Dad wasn't making as much, Mom needed a job to supplement the family income. Soon, Mom had the paperboys job. She would dress like the paperboy and ride her bike around the neighborhood at 4:00-5:00 in the morning and deliver her papers. Mom left the house to finish collecting .
