As you near a tiring hour of walking, you begin to see plants, with them becoming more and more packed as you continue on. They look like normal Earth plants, mostly green, so you think nothing of them. That is, until you feel something wrap around your ankle. You look down, and there is a vine preventing you from advancing further. Before you can try to do anything, the vine yanks, and you are pulled back suddenly, causing you to let out a shocked yell. You attempt to pull away from the vine, but it refuses to let go, and soon, you find more vines coming to bind you. Pretty soon, you are tied spread-eagle right next to a big plant. It does not seem harmful, and since all it has done so far is restrain you, you are not overly concerned about it. More vines come out, and you finally decide to speak up, hoping that this thing can understand you, “Please let me go!”
The vines all turn at a 45° angle, indicating that the plant they belong to heard you, but you are fairly convinced that they did not understand when the vines…
