The rookie gets free

With a great "Oomph!" as he hit the ground, Rick hit the ground and fell on his back, dazed for a moment by having the wind knocked out of him. He realized quickly what was going on, and while the Witch stood there toying with him he reached up and grabbed her ankle, twisting and throwing her off balance.

Rather than scramble on top of her though, he got up himself and backed away to a safe distance and let her get up. "I won't go down that easy!" he boasted, before charging at her face first.
