Ruby was your typical Red head
Blue-ish green eyed 4 year old
save being short and having some
rather unique friends.
There was her living self aware
odd Teddy Bear called Beary
and a neighbor who was a weird
slightly eccentric yet still friendly inventor.
Today was a seemingly typical day
until she was hungry for a snack.
Ruby went to the kitchen.
Unfortunately when she got there
she ran into an all too common problem!
The snacks were on the counter and
Ruby was of course too short to reach.
Her dad came in to help but after he
did she went to another room and
became sad.
She ate her snack then found
Beary.
“What’s wrong Ruby?”
Ruby took off her boots and socks and
walked over to a table.
“This is what’s wrong”
She stood on her tiptoes and held
her hand on her head.
“I’m sick of being short!
I wish I didn’t have to wait to get
bigger”
“Well maybe this can help”
said Beary taking out an odd
looking squirt gun thing with
buttons, switches and knobs.
“I found it in that inventor guys
trash and oooopps”
The bear accidentally pushed a button.
A beam shot out and zapped Ruby.
Fortunately it affected her and her
clothes but _____
