With her sister looking pretty angry, Amber wasted no time checking the settings of the gun and fired immediately at her hand. Unfortunately, all she heard was a ‘Click’, she fired again and again but nothing changed.
“AMBER?” Amy moved her hand closed, her older sister nearly lost her balance, “WHAT’S WRONG?”
After a moment or two of checking the gun, Amber gulped and looked at Amy’s eyes. “So…there’s a problem. The Ray gun’s out of power.”
“WHAT?!” Amy shouted, forcing her sister down on her back.
“Stop shouting please!” She shouted back. “We just need to charge it again, I think maybe we can find some charging cables for it, you know like for phones and stuff!” Since the only thing she noticed was some sort of plug in for a cable, that was the likely idea she had.
“WILL THAT WORK?”
“M-maybe?! I don’t know, but we have to try.” She really hoped so, otherwise it was gonna be very difficult for Amy to attend school, or learn about stuff while having to avoid crushing anything under her shoes. Currently she still stood in the neighborhood and hadn’t crushed much of the property besides some leftover cars and the concrete street. It was certainly bound to get someone’s attention though, so they had to hurry.
