Chapter #5Mina’s joining the circus! by: pedro01   It was another typical day at school, as eleven year old girl named Mina was headed back home in a rather bored looking kinda thing. She hated these subjects which proved too hard for her likening, and would thought she wanted to do something else instead. Sometimes these opportunities are slim and that only choice was to attend school, no matter what her judgment says from her opinion.
That is until one day when Mina was headed through the streets, when she had spotted a poster being printed onto the walls, and it was about the circus, who are looking for anyone to be part of the performers for the show. That’s when Mina’s eyes lit up and started to make some thoughts as if she’ll be having a blast, like doing acrobatics or what not?
“Now there’s something I really wanted to do!” Mina says when she think it could be fun, comparing to the school she hated so much.
Now at that point, she would wanted to go home and ask her mother about taking her there, but then she’ll be thinking some doubts and thus wouldn’t let her go if she did ask to fill in an act. So she decides to head to the circus which she knows it was at the park she normally goes on a day-to-day basis.
When Mina arrived there, she can see so much trailers being used for equipments and others to transport these to different places as they go. There was also a huge tent which she feels like there could be somebody in there. So she didn’t hesitate to have a look and try and get as much attention as possible, so that one or two performers would notice.
“Hello?” Mina yelled as much as she continued saying further. “I’ve just saw the poster saying you’re looking for someone to join the circus?”
With an instant response, one came forward with a smile to his face as he appeared. He has his ringmaster’s costume, which meant he’s the master of the ceremonies of the show. He approaches Mina and greeted with a handshake as a welcome to say the least.
“Why hello there, little one! My name is Tony, and I’m the circus ringmaster! What’s your name, sweetie?” The ringmaster makes Tony greeted.
“I’m Mina, and I’m eleven years old! I’ve always wanted to be a good performer, so that I want to do something rather than sitting at school doing boring subjects as usual.” Mina responded and explained why she wanted to join the circus.
“I see!” Tony had that curious thought in mind, since it was one of the reasons Mina wants to come over. He had a string of thought until he brought out a vintage idea which he nodded with a smile. “Well there’s an act I’ve wanted to find, and I think you’re the one I’m looking for. Shall we get you started straight away?”
“That would be great! Thank you so much!” Mina was so much excited, that she didn’t even know what the actual act she really is on.
But Tony had already found an idea and so he went over to find some things, leaving Mina to have great thought of becoming the greatest circus act, and wanted to make her family and friends proud by any means of her dream. It wouldn’t take long until Tony came back and he brought along what kind?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
