Attempt to Channel a Fire Spell Between her Tra...

After a brief moment concentrating the volatile magic between her hands, Avoni releases the red magic, willing it forward, directly into the Dwemer ghost. The impact burns a crater in the phantasmal flesh and the ghost pulls back, releasing Avoni's hand in order to heal itself. Now able to concentrate completely on casting, Avoni casts another fire sphere and then another. The plasma balls impact on the Dwemer ghost, ripping it to pieces, shreds of ectoplasm falling to the floor. Taking a deep breath, Avoni collects herself, grateful to have survived an encounter she was not prepared for.

After coming so close to being beaten in her first fight, Avoni decided discretion was the better part of valor. Sweeping the gems from the bench into her bag she beat a hasty retreat to the ruin's entrance. As soon as the heavy iron door wheezed shut behind her she felt much better. The relative safety and comfort of the cliffracer infested wastes was much preferable to the claustrophobic maze of machinery.
