You walked away from the book, having forgotten about it for the moment and walked towards Harry's house. Unknown to you, Hayley was watching from the front door. She sighed, shaking her head before summoning the book to her hand. Behind her was mom with a questioning look on her face which Hayley saw the moment she turned around. "Testing your bother?" Flatly, mom demanded. "It's a bit strange that 'she' doesn't notice anything."
"The magic book keeps finding its way to him, mom." Frowning, Hayley said. "All I did was make the change unnoticeable to him, or rather, her so I can see if she is actually summoning the book due to her magic surfacing or if someone is purposely sending it to her."
Unknown to you, mom and all of your sisters were witches with the power of magic. They had been keeping this a secret from you for a long time due to your own abilities coming to the surface. Witch boys were blessed physically and were the protectors of the family; not that you knew it in that sense.
"Either way, this is not good." Frowning back, mom said. "Keep an eye on her. I'll make arrangements so no one close to 'Lucy' notices anything strange. If someone outside the family is doing this, not getting a reaction may move her or them to show their hand."
Hayley nodded before handing the magic book over to mom and began to follow you from a safe distance.
