Not quite sure what to make of what she had just seen, Liz headed upstairs chuntering to herself and frowning, that is until she ran into Elizabeth, her boss at the top of the stairs outside the locker room and ladies toilets. "Oh, hey Elizabeth. Are the spare uniforms still in the Training Room?"
"Yes they are I believe. Why, did you rip something?" Elizabeth responded calmly, looking over Liz's clothes.
"No, not me, um... how to explain this..." Liz sighed.
"Explain what?" Elizabeth asked.
"Its Josh, er... he's... shrunk." Liz said, knowing how that must have sounded to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth frowned intently, then laughed. "Shrunk?? You mean his clothes?" She inquired next.
Liz shook her head firmly. "No, I mean he's literally shrunk, he's about the same height as me now, if not a little shorter." Liz explained. "And he looked a lot skinnier too, as though he'd lost his physique, his clothes are hanging off him."
"Liz, this is no time for jokes." Elizabeth muttered skeptically.
"I'm not joking, I'm serious. That's why I need some spare clothes, a shorter pair of trousers and a smaller shirt. And I think you need to go and see for yourself, I told him to stay in Goods Inwards until I can bring him some clothes." Liz continued, a serious expression etched on her face.
"Well, okay then." Elizabeth sighed, glancing at her watch for a second. She then clicked off in her high heels, heading downstairs, while Liz went into the Training Room to scrounge up some spare trousers and a Wilko shirt for her now shrunken staff member.
