Miia knew the birdbrain would make for an ideal first meal. The scrawny little thing couldn't even hope to fight back against a lamia, after all.
She slipped out of her room and down the hall, slithering to Papi's door and letting herself in without even a knock. What she found, not at all to her surprise, was Papi, happily munching on a small, red apple.
"Heeeeeey there Papi," said Miia, trying her best to act casual. In truth she was sweating, already beginning to blush as she ruminated on her plan. Would darling forgive her for eating one of the other girls? It was too late for her to go back now, though. She had to press on. "What'cha up to?" she asked, inching forward.
"Papi's eating, so she can become big and fat for the Boss!" answered Papi, as she took another bite.
"Uh-huh," said Miia, grinning coyly as she arrived next to her prey. "You know, you'll never get big enough for Darling eating tiny things like that..."
Papi paused mid-chew, her world shattered. "W-Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? No way!" the harpy whined, dropping her apple to the floor. "How'm I gonna get fat if apples aren't gonna work?"
The tip of Miia's tail snaked its way up Papi's legs as the lamia giggled, bringing her head closer to the unaware harpy. "Don't worry, I'll make you fat," she said with a lick of her lips. "My fat!"
Papi gave Miia a blank stare, her brain trying to figure out the play on words. Just as she realized what the hungry lamia meant, however, Miia pounced, engulfing Papi's head in one, swift lunge. The terrified harpy thrashed and wriggled as she was swallowed up, feathers scattering from her wings as she descended down Miia's throat and into her gut.
Gulp!
Just like that, there was one less girl vying for Darling's affection. Miia let out a belch as her stomach groaned, digesting the slow-witted harpy in a matter of minutes. Papi must have been worth tens of thousands of calories at the very least- a month's worth of food in a single sitting! The satisfied lamia grinned, posing in front of the mirror to admire her chubbier form. "It's a start~" she cooed, patting her wobbling belly. "But I'll need much, much more to secure Darling's eternal love..."
Already Miia's mind was on her next meal, and she was feeling...
