"Phew" he said, leaning on his knees to rest. For some reason that tired him out more then usual. He took the statue off his belt loop, and wiped the grime off. He turned it around, looking at it from different angles. At the base, was two numbers in small, glowing etching. The first said 35, the second said 193. The numbers then changed to 36 and 198.
"What the?" said Drake confused. Looking down, Nate noticed that his normally flat abs had somehow curved out a bit at the bottom into a bump. He lifted up his shirt and placed his hand to it. His abs were fading and a soft layer of fat had formed. But the idol's curse clouded his mind, making him think that this was his normal apperance. Nate shrugged it off.
"Guess my dad bod is catching up with me" he chuckled to himself.
As he wandered back through the jungle to his jeep, he suddenly noticed how hot he felt. Sweat stains were starting to appear down his back and under his arms. After a half hour of hiking, Nate finally reached the Jeep. Panting, he leant up on the side of the car. Meanwhile, the statue had flicked over to 38 and 203.
Nate looked at himself in the wing miror. Light wrinkles had appeared around his eyes and forehead, light grey hairs appearing in his dark brown hair and sideburns, his stubble becoming a bit longer.
"Wow" he said, examining his sideburns. "Gonna be a silver fox any day now i guess".
He hopped in the jeep, adjusting the rear view mirror. The statue jumped up to 39 and 212. Nate's gut was now very visible, his shirt riding up a few inches. His pecs had began to loose tension, becoming softer, as his ass widened in his pants. Even his arms and legs grew a bit softer. Nate looked down at his newly formed modest belly.
"Huh, need to cut back on the donuts" he said, jiggling the flab with his hands, before taking hold of the wheel. "Guess it's normal for a guy my age"
