"Sure I can grab something to eat, I was getting hungry myself" Kaidan said accepting James's offer.
"Great then let's head over to the Mess Hall then" James said as he patted Kaidan on the back as the two of headed to the Mess Hall in the Crew's Quarters on the ship. They casually talked to one another as they headed over their and loaded their plate with the slop that given to everyone when they came in to eat. It had a sickly grey color to it but tasted better than it looked, artificial food and all to make sure that food supplies didn't go low. James's gut gave another growl of hunger as his meal was placed on his tray. James was a big eater but he had never been this hungry before. But he shrugged it off, after all he was just in a big mission not to long ago. James and Kaidan settled down at a table and James began to inhale his food wanting to to fill his empty gut.
"Whoa slow down there, its like you've never seen food before" Kaidan said, as he watched James eat. He hadn't even began to touch his food yet.
"Sorry bro, I'm just starving. I don't know why, it feels like I haven't eaten in days." James said while shoving in another mouthful of the grey mush that was their dinner tonight.
"Wei-" Before Kaidan could finish his sentence a growl of hunger was released from Kaidan's own stomach, causing him to blush slightly.
James laughed, "Seems I'm not the only one who's hungry"
"Yeah man seems I've been working up an appetite as well" Kaidan said before hastily eating a spoonful of the slop that they were given. Though even after they both finished their meal they still had a craving for more, their stomachs whining they they weren't filled yet, as they went back multiple times getting more to eat, till finally they were both stuffed tot he brim and leaning back in their seats rubbing their stuffed guts.
