When Jade walked into work one morning, her colleagues should have realized something was different about her. She was more alert, happier even, since she usually never smiled at work because she was bored stiff. It wasn't the most exciting job, and she wasn't a 'people' person, so dealing with customers... ugh, she hated it. "Hiya Jade love." Waggy greeted the redhead as she walked in the door of the locker room.
"Hey!" Jade smiled, taking a moment to study Waggy's appearance. The woman was in fine condition for a 40-year old mother of two young children. "Hope you're well." Jade then said, slipping her purse in her locker and putting a padlock on it.
"I will be when we finish the shift tonight." Waggy chuckled, squeezing past Jade and heading out of the room.
Jade just smirked to herself. "Oh I'm in no rush for it to be over today. I have things I want to do," She told herself. For it just so happened an old woman she helped earlier in the day (saving her dog from being hit by a car) had passed a special power along to Jade to swap people's bodies in any way. She told her she could even swap people clothing if she wanted. She knew it was real, for she could feel the power surging inside her. She just needed to test it out.
And as Jade headed downstairs onto the shop floor to join her co-workers, she had already decided to turn the store and its inhabitants into her own personal 'playground'. And the best thing was... nobody but her would be aware of anything.
As the staff gathered around the help desk to receive their assignments from Liz, the first few customers started trickling into the shop.
