" This is nice having the house to myself for the day", Kate said to herself, as she enjoyed her breakfast and was watching TV. Just as she was getting into her show on TV and finishing her breakfast, there was a something happening upstairs in her attic. At first she didn't hear it do to her TV's volume, but then:

"What the heck was that" Kate questioned, turning the volume down on her TV and listening for a second. Then there was nothing. "Ok, I may just be hearing things. Houses are always making sounds" she thought returning to her show and turning the volume back up. But just when she was getting back into her show, the noise returned again. This time it sounded like a loud thud in the attic, like something fell.
"Ok, that sounded like something in the attic" Kate thought to herself, turning the volume down again. Another loud thud came from the attic again, as she sat there listening to the sounds. "sounds like something fell to the floor up there. Probably should go check the attic" Kate said to herself, finishing her breakfast and turning the TV off.
"Lets go check the attic" Kate said, getting off the couch. She then went into a stretch, raising her hands above her head, causing her sweatshirt to rise up a bit exposing her bare midriff. After stretching, she lowered her arms and pushed her sweatshirt down and headed upstairs. Now her house was a 2 story with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There was also a little staircase that led to the attic, which was convenient for easy access. So it didn't take Kate long to make her way up to the attic. Once she got up to the attic. She noticed:
