A powerful constricting squeeze from the trunk left Simba lightheaded and disoriented. The elephant simply uncoiled her brutal trunk to let him flop on to the floor. With a vicious glare she stepped forward, planting a heavy foot on top of the cub. He squeaked back into clarity, feeling the heavy foot squash him. The little lion felt his body compress under the overwhelming pressure, only to bounce back. Had the elephant stopped already? A new stomp quickly removed that silly notion. Of course she'd keep going.
The angry elephant bore down on Simba with one angry stomp after the other. Each time his body was smooshed under her sole. And each time it sprung right back up again. The pressure and the pain kept the cub from dashing away. Not that he'd get far. The crowd seemed to love watching him get hurt. Though this wasn't quite regulation, they cheered all the same. The vulture ref kept a close eye on things to stop them from getting out of hand but he didn't interfere. He saw the cowardly cub receive what he would consider just punishment for trying to run away.
After an unrelenting volley of demolishing stomps the elephant rears back on her hind legs. Simba looks up, powerless to dodge away. Both front come down like gray meteors. They land right on top of the cub with a huge thump. The little lion is for a moment nearly two-dimensional before his resilient nature cause him to sproing back up on to his feet. That was her final blow. The irate elephant huffs and puffs with pent up aggression. She slowly composes herself and the ref flies in.
"Ladies aaand gentlemen, we have ourselves an issue. Simba cannot fight any further, but who gets to claim victory and possible this lion?" The crowd murmurred among themselves. Shenzi did good work in the ring, but this elephant's savagery deserves at least a chance.
