Serafine was one of Summer's less noticeable classmates.
Originally a quiet girl, she was actually a bundle of kinks wrapped up in a cute package, a walking testament to the saying "watch out for the quiet ones".
But to think she'd actually see her again by Chris' side!!!...
"Er...I'm just walking Sera home..."
"Oh, we had a wonderful day!" Serafine chirped. "We went to the amusement park. Christoph told me about the time he saved all of you in the castle..."
"Er, I may have exaggerated a little.."
Summer took a deep breath.
"I'm happy for you! Jamie, we're leaving!"
She stomped off, then ten steps behind the next corner it seemed like all energy suddenly left her.
"She seems like a cute girl." Jamie commented, turning up behind her.
"She never used to be this chatty...Usually she'd be quiet and reserved..."
"Well, at least they seem to match each other nicely."
She looked at Summer's back, then leaned closer and whispered:
"Summer...could it be that you..."
"Eh? No! nothing like that...Jamie - you know the reason too, right?..."
Jamie had to admit that she did. It wasn't that Summer wasn't happy for Chris. It was just, the three of them had been together since they were little. She was just pissed that someone who was not a part of their group was going to be monopolizing Chris from now on and he would no longer hang with them...
"Jamie...Do you think our friends are all drifting apart...?"
"Well, we certainly couldn't have that." said a voice behind them. A voice from the past...
