Backpacks were slung on shoulders and students poured out the door. Aria Gleam stood up to leave, only to hear her teacher call her name. "Aria, I'd like for you to stay behind after class for a short while." "Oooh, someone's in trouble." Aria shot a look of amusement at her classmate, Indigo, as she walked out the door. Aria approached the teacher's desk and asked why Ms. Solar wanted her to stay behind. Blake felt his heart rate quicken. His crush was a few feet away from him, yet his teacher was the only obstacle between them. If only he wasn't stuck within this cramped shoe, he could get to her. Ms. Solar looked at the door to make sure everyone had gone. "Aria, what did you think about that story of Icarus we learned in class today?" "Oh. Well, it's certainly a story about boldness going too far and getting someone into trouble. Though I also think it's a warning story about the dangers of poor craftsmanship." They both chuckled. "I have something I need to show you, Aria." Suddenly, Blake felt a strong shift in the wall of flesh pinning him down. It pulled Blake to the middle of the leather pump. Light shone in and hurt Blake's darkness-adjusted eyes. He felt pressure on both sides of his body as he re-oriented himself. He found himself pinched between his teacher's index finger and thumb, being lifted high into the sky and placed on her other hand's palm.
Annoyed at the unannounced manhandling, Blake looked up so he could give his teacher a piece of his mind. Only, he was facing the opposite way. Directly towards the most beautiful, confused face in the world. "I-is that... Blake?" "Yes, it is. Blake has something he'd like to tell you, Aria." Being put on the spot like this wasn't what Blake thought was going to happen. He hesitated as he looked at his gorgeous crush's face. "Uhh... Well. I sorta... Shrunk myself on accident trying to make myself stronger" "Blake, why in the world would you do that?" "Uh... Well... I wanted to impress you, Aria." "...Me?" "Yeah, I kinda... like you and thought you'd want a guy who was strong but I... messed things up." The next couple of seconds felt like hours to Blake as he winced in anticipation at what his crush might say. Aria actually ended up laughing. Oh no, she was laughing at him. She thought this whole thing was stupid at was laughing at him, that must be it. His moping came to an end quickly as Aria told him "That's so sweet, Blake." He was surprised at what was to him a sudden turn of events. "Wait... really?" "Yeah. But you don't need to make yourself super strong for me. I like you just how you are." Blake was over the moon. Aria liked him! She actually liked him back! Aria's huge hand rose up and reached towards the tiny mage. She picked him up and put him in her own palm. She held him there for a second before bringing him up to her lips and giving him a kiss that covered his entire body. Blake kissed back as best as he could at his size.
Ms. Solar smiled. "Well, everything worked out in the end. I won't keep you two any longer, run along now." Aria turned toward the exit, Blake still in her palm, ready to head...
