"Cease your pace Elve!" you yelled out, taking out your sword, you felt intimidated as she walked toward you, her tall seven foot demeanor, the blade on side, and her dirty bare feet was enough for caution here, you thought.
The Elve stop moving, putting her hand on the handle of her blade.
You thought to yourself that yelling at her as well pointing your sword wasn't the smart thing to do, being that she didn't provoke. So you tried to fix the heated atmosphere you created.
You continued, "Forgive my rudeness, I don't want any unnecessary trouble, if you need help with directions I can point to the right way but in exchange, you let me pass by without harm, fair deal?" You lowered your sword to show you are not willing to fight.
Despite you showing no will to fight the two of you stood in your places in silence, looking at each others eyes. The wind blows by, the birds chirped, and the dagger of the elve's eyes showed no remorse, it eats at you when you look in her bright green eyes.
After what felt like ten minutes she spoke at last, "I have no need of directions, my mission is to find and recover." The way she spoke was that of a dead tone, no emotions expressed.
She looked at me, analyzing me. She took her hand off her blade and preceded to speak "Have you seen a dragon girl anywhere? She is six feet tall, blue scale coloring, dark red eyes, has a annoying high pinch voice, and is extremely dumb."
You respond "No, I have not seen your dragon girl." As you moved your head sideways.
The Elve pondered what you just said, then spoke "You will help in my search human, come."
She turned around and went back on searching, going near the woods. You were dumb founded at her confidence, did she really think that you would just help her, just like that?
You needed to defeat the Monster Queen. you didn't have time to waste searching for a dragon girl that would most likely push you to the ground and make you worship her dirty feet, smothering you to the dirt, putting her filthy toes in your mouth and use your tongue to clean her feet!
Oh the mere thought!
You needed to say a few words about this sudden arrangement "Hold on there Elve-"
"Miranda" she corrected as she moved a large leaf "Miranda," you started to get annoyed "I will not do this, I will not hel-" she moved so fast, in the blink of an eye she grab your collar shirt and spoke near your ear "You are not making a wise choice human, fail to help me and I will see to it that you will die here, under my feet, slowly."
You were shocked at this outcome, you didn't expect that she would threaten you like that before finishing your sentence. You tried to make the best out of this situation so you put on a brave face and spoke;
"Please, don't misinterpret my uproar." She moved herself to looked you in the eyes, you continued "I just wanted to say that this will greatly put me in harms way to find your dragon girl, considering she may like putting people under her feet and that you only benefit from this."
You paused for a moment
"Seeing that you are a very honorable Elve, letting me talk to you instead of you putting me under your feet, I thought that we come to a reasonable deal."
She just looked at you, in her dead gaze, you didn't know that if this stunt you pulled would work, though you hoped, it is uncertain.
