"Nora, we don't have time for-" Jaune entered the room and was immediately attacked by Nora who leapt from behind her desk and fired the remote at him. Immediately he felt himself knocked down by the beam coming from the remote and his surroundings changed as he fell on his back. "Ow, Nora why did you do that-?!" He wanted to complain to his partner but then he realized he had a problem much bigger than that.
Once he was around 6 feet tall, now he was exactly just 1/4th of an inch tall as the world was now taller and a whole lot bigger, and that included Nora herself. As she stood in amazement that the remote worked on someone, she checked the device again and then to Jaune's spot where he had been before. "Woah, I just made Jaune invisible! Although shouldn't he be more easy to see?" She checked the dial and it was at the lowest setting possible, but she shrugged and thought nothing of it.
"Oh no, I've been shrunk..." The tiny detective stood his ground in fear as she watched her friend speak, she had no idea that she'd shrunk him or even that she held a shrinking remote, perhaps the very thing that had caused students to disappear. What was worst was that she was starting to walk forward to see if she could find him by waving her hand outward, though her pink shoes were causing a lot of earthquakes for him as they got closer and closer. "Nora, stop! I'm right down here, you've shrunk me!"
His voice didn't even reach her from the floor as she stopped just a few inches away from him, he fell on his back when her shoe stood in front of him where he could easily tell that he was no more taller than an ant, and just like an ant he was threatened by everything much bigger than him. His partner didn't look down, though he wasn't sure that he'd be safe if she even did and probably dismiss him as a bug. She waved her arm forward and even poked the air to see if Jaune had cold feet and remained where he was.
"Huh, I guess he must've ran off..." Nora said as she raised the remote to her face and beamed at the chance to create some fun. "Ah well, I can check on him later. Right now, I've got a school to explore."
"Nora, don't you dare do what I think you're gonna do!" Jaune watched the giant place the device in her pocket and prepare to leave, but he'd rather not remain here as a tiny bug-sized human, he needed to get to her head and tell her to focus. He took a big risk and leapt to her pink shoe just before it moved, he held on as tight as he could as Nora started walking away from the science room, a vital piece of evidence in her possession along with the small victim who screamed at how fast she was going, but can he remain on her shoe for so long?
