You stumble upon an odd site, a guillotine stretching high into the air in the middle of a park. There even appeared to be a crowd around it. You decide to see what all the fuss was about. As you walk up you see a young woman in the stocks, as a headless woman holds the rope. You look around but don't see any head to match the operator of the guillotine.
"I'm ready" the young woman says, "Behead me". The operator immediately releases the rope and the blade rushes down, chopping the young woman's head clean off. Her head drops and lands at the foot of the machine, rolling slightly to a stop. You could see the bottom of her neck was covered in skin and she was very much okay as she had a massive grin on her face. As she soaks in her newfound headlessness, her body rises up from the bench, feeling her headless neck stump.
Then suddenly her body shoots up to a standing position and walks right off.
"Wait, hey! Body!" her helpless head calls out. You see the operator shake her headless neck as she picks the head up and carries her back to some small setup she had behind the guillotine in a tent, before coming back out signalling for any new volunteers.
"What is this?" you say aloud, dumbfounded by the sight.
"This is one of our town's attractions" a guy next to you says, "One of the many ways here to lose your head".
