Note. There was a chapter here but it was deleted. The chapter clearly didn't respect anything about the guidelines of current characters and their relationships. John's dad is out of the picture and characters were described completely different from everywhere else in the story. I'm totally down for new characters in the story, but at least *try* to have them make sense in the plot.
"Oh, no, no, no, no," you said while spamming the cancel button.
The machine groaned and the vapor increased. In a fit of desperation, you pulled out the power cord and the washer died instantly. That cut the emergency lock and you could open the door, giving you a blast of the odd smelling mist.
You coughed and began pulling everyone's clothing out of the machine, one by one. Thankfully, the load belonged to mostly your mother and Briana. There weren't any of Janet's clothes in the mix. She would probably kill you if you ever did something to damage her outfits.

You hadn't the time to think much with the emergency of your machine sounding like it was about to explode.
For good measure, when the drier was loaded and working, you ran upstairs and washed your hands free of the goop. That seemed to cause the tingling to go away.
"Alright then," you said, relaxing and pulling out your mom's socks that you had kept in your pocket. "So, we have ourselves a magic powder that lets people turn into other people by wearing their clothes."
You were too tired to even think about doing anything with this new information. After almost causing your basement to turn into a war zone, you were content to just forget about the clothes and take a nap. Maybe when you woke up things would make more sense. Maybe it was all a dream.
Unfortunately, touching the powder while it was still in the process of the rinse cycle would cause a strange effect on you. Especially with the mix of family clothes. After you rested for a moment, you would...
