Josh thought about it for a moment and finally spoke up. After all that's happened, he just wanted to have some normalcy for once. "I think we should just study." He suggested as he made his way over to his new backpack, courtesy of Bri, and got out his notes out. Looking at the notebook, Josh noticed that it had a colorful unicorn on it instead of the normal plain color that he would normally have. 'It must be from the swap I got with Bri.' He thought to himself as he put it down.
"Wow, you must be ready to get out of the house if you're willing to study." Jenn chuckled as she sat near by. "By the way, I like what you did with you hair today." She motioned over to his pony tail that Bri fixed before he left the house earlier. "Did you do that or did your sister help you out again?"
Josh brought his hand up to his head and felt the pony tail and sighed at his misfortune. "Oh, Bri helped me with it." He replied as he shamefully looked back down at his notes.
"Awe, it nothing to be ashamed of having your little sister help you with your hair." Jenn chuckled as she nudged him jokingly and reached up to play with his now longer hair, pulling out the tie that was holding it all into place. "I think I can show you a couple things but you need to learn how to do it yourself." Josh thought about telling his friend about his new ability, but thought against it since he wanted to get away, at least for a little bit, from his problems.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Josh sighed as he tried to get away from his friend.
"What's wrong Joshie." Jenn giggled as she got even closer, causing Josh to blush slightly at all the attention he was getting from his longtime crush. "We have plenty of time to study, so let me play with your hair a little bit."
Josh was taken aback, having never seen his friend like this before, he begrudgingly agreed and groaned when Jenn let out a small squeal of excitement as she ran over to her makeup table to grab her brush and some other items. "So, I guess you like guys with longer hair?" Josh asked poking a little fun at his friend who was seemingly fawning over his longer hair and wondered if she was always like this around him in this reality.
Jenn blushed slightly at the question. "Oh, umm..." She fought to stay on track after the abrupt question. "I guess you can say that. Now sit still." She sat behind him and started to do her thing.
