This choice: "She has agreed to give you your room back" • Go Back...Chapter #12Josh gets his room back by: yugglopo   "Okay big bro. I talked to Courtney and she has agreed to give you your room back."
"Really? Thank you so much!" Josh gave his sister a high five, and then starting to walk out of the room.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Bri asked him.
"What?"
"You never said you agree. Duh!"
"Oh your right. I agree to swap rooms with Courtney!" Nothing happened however.
"Why didn't it work?" His sister asked.
"I'm not sure."
"Maybe you have to be in the same room." She suggested.
"That's actually not a bad idea!" Josh headed back over to his old room.
Josh knocked which was followed up with a "come in!" from his other sister.
"Hey sis! You ready to give my room back?"
"I guess so." She said, sitting at her homework desk but not sounding very enthusiastic. "I'm only doing because Bri threatened to tattle on me for kissing a boy at a party last week."
"How did she know?"
"I was too loud when I got back home, and I woke her up. I just told her the truth."
"Alright, you ready?" Josh asked her again.
"Uh huh, I agree to swap rooms with you again."
Nothing happened again, but Josh forgot one major key. "Oh." He finally said. "I'll do it also." The flash filled up the room once again, and once it left, it was the same way as before the original room swap. Everything was back where it was, including his game console resting under his TV.
"Nice, thanks again." He told her.
"Yeah, whatever." She said before leaving, still a bit mad about the situation.
Josh decided to sit and play some video games. He turned on his PlayStation, waiting for his game to start. "Ahh... home sweet home." Josh thought.
His thoughts were cut off with someone standing at the door, who turned out to be Bri. "So I'm guessing you got your room back?"
"Yeah, thanks to you! I can't believe you threatened to rat out Courtney though."
"Don't underestimate me." Bri said before the siblings shared a laugh. Josh saw Bri run the opposite way of her and now once again Courtney's room, before he heard her run downstairs.
Once console had turned on, he immediately got a party request from Kira Marshall, Jenn's sister. Jenn didn't really like the fact that they played video games together, but was starting to accept it. Josh accepted the request and put his headset on. "Hey Kira! You looking for a partner in crime?"
"I wish, but Jenn left for your house and should be there any minute. I'd just get of now if I were you."
As if on cue, the door bell rang. "I'll get it!" Josh heard his youngest sister yell.
"I think she just got here, thanks for telling me." He said before shutting the console down.
Josh made sure he looked presentable before Jenn got to his room, and sat on his bed once satisfied. "Hey there Josh!" Jenn said as she appeared through the doorway.
"Hey Jenn!"
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing at the current moment."
"Well, what do you want to do? Study, watch that movie you talked about?"
"Actually I have a different idea." Josh wasn't keen on the idea of swapping after the negotiations with his sisters, but Jenn's arrival changed all of that. He actually was pretty eager to reveal his power., as maybe it would make her view him in a new light. Especially because he knew it worked now. Josh went on to explain everything about his power to her, from the old lady at the bus stop, to swapping hair with Bri, to the room affair with Courtney. He also told Jenn that he currently had Bri's hair and vagina.
"What are you talking about?" Jenn said. "There's no way someone could have a power like that. And you've always had long hair and a vagina, and you're trying to tell me it's your sister's? I'm calling bullshit!" Jenn wasn't one to curse a ton, but she was angry because she thought that Josh was trying to waste her time.
"Well you can say that, but it doesn't hurt to try, you never know."
"Okay fine, I'll try one swap. Let's swap our _____."
