On reflection, the dungeons were the most logical lead to take up first. After all, it held the thickest, most impenetrable defenses. On the other hand, the dungeons were the closest to the human territories, and the most difficult to transport the hostage out of. It depends on what they wanted with her. If it was just a blue-blooded brood sow they wanted, the dungeon was perfect. If they actually wanted to hold a ransom...probably not. You decide that the Monster Boys probably just want her as a slave they can brag about, and that you'll find her in the dungeon!
Of course, the entry to the dungeon is secret to humans. But you have a solution to that problem. With the help of the city guard, you've been allowed to keep a Monster Boy in your custody so he can guide you to the dungeon, he says he knows the way. A young Orcish boy by the name of Urtok. You keep him chained as you go, and you set up your map on the ground while you leave the confines of the gated city. "Alright Orc." You bark. "Where do we go first? There's still some light so we can start." The Orc smiles, despite being bossed around by a knight, it's better than prison! Also, he was being washed daily to prevent foot stink, so Urtok was looking forward to letting his feet grow smelly again...he wiggles his toes in excitement...and having the company of a strapping human was more than most monsters had. "South to the top of this hill." You follow his direction and soon arrive without any problems. "Good work, orc." Urtok doesn't mind being snubbed, especially as you take off your armor to sleep, revealing your body. "That's fine! Good night human." You both set up camp and go to sleep for the night to start the journey in full tomorrow.
